In addition, The contents arre masterpiece. I had this problem, but also sometimes on booting. The screen showed nothing but I could see from the disk activity that the PC was going through its usual routine, but not displaying anything! I tried all the fixes on the Web and nothing worked permanently.

Eventually, I decided that it must be some incompatibility between bios settings and Windows 10 settings. I reset all bios settings to defaults and rebooted. Opened up the PC and removed the bios battery for 10 sec — resets the bios properly — put the battery back and rebooted, pressing del to go into bios settings.

Went through all settings making sure that hardware was in the right order for booting and that defaults were sensible. The PC had refused to boot because I have two drives in the machine and the default order started with the non-system drive! So basically, I reset all bios settings to defaults by removing the backup battery for 10 seconds.

Then checked setting and changed only those that would have stopped the machine booting. The PC then booted fine, and sleep also works fine with no black screen.

This is custom made PC, and it has work fine, until that W10 update. I edited my post.. The Parts i have, umm, that is good question, becouse this is quite old 6 years if remember right Intel iK Ram 16GT Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 Evga geforge gtx ti Power is xfx w, those wats im not sure, so w i think.

So on startup, half of the drivers already loaded and meant to speed up startup on hdd. Downside is drivers that aren’t written for WIn 10 new power schemes can crash. On a Z77 board, I would say you might have something like that.

This isn’t a fix, its just a work around. If you have an ssd, you don’t need fast startup. Sleep is likely drivers as well. Upload same way as I showed before.

I look to see whats running and see if I can find newer versions. Here is that disk management, or at least i try send it. It is on finnish, so feel free ask, if need those translated. Also, im trying to search those specs that you ask, drivers etc.

That is good then, I probably just wasted your time with that Driver list might help you more. Not wasted time at all, it is good to know that is ok Driver list, so you mean those motherboard, cpu, gpu, etc drivers? I will try get them on the device manager, so just a sec. So here is drivers that i think are important, feel free ask more if there is something that i didint understand to pick Intel cpu I7 driver: You suggest i update it? It is better update it on device manager, or manually download drivers?

If you look at my 1st reply, I showed a link to driver view, it will find the drivers for you although they will be in Finnish.

Looks like there is only “Sleep” and “Lock” showing, even i pressed that change setting that is currently unavailable. I add photo. I remember i have visited here before, when im trying to change those hibernate settings, then there was that hibernate and fast sleep options too. I could also trying that option two to shut down that fast starup, or try “powercfg -h on” to see if those options come back then.

So i continue then fixing this thing. Thank you for your help. What autoruns does is stops it running at startup but if any program decides it needs it, it can open it again.
