Tried different things and searching on Google but not finding anything useful.

I work for a company that uses “VM” technology where our Win10 is on servers and we log onto the VM server to access our Microsoft Office software such as word and excel. Given this background, I am using Word and noticed this issue several months ago while developing a small 30×5 table.

When my document is opened, typing is normal but after about 5 minutes typing slows down considerably. If I do a “save” then typing is normal for about 5 minutes and then slows down again. Being concerned about “formatting”, I save the document as a “txt” file then started a new document and created a 30×5 table.

I then copied and “Paste and keep text” the information into my new table. Unfortunately, the problem continues. I have looked through the various responses to this and other similar threads and have tried some of the suggested fixes, bearing in mind that my IT department is the administrator, I was not able to try all.

I have submitted my concern to our IT folks but this just doesn’t rise to the level of concern they are interested in pursuing.
